The flexibility of Wait and Load rubbish removal makes it a great alternative to skip hire. Ashville Concrete was established in 2017 by Director Daniel Louisy. Our director achieved his CPC qualification and became the company’s CPC holder (Transport Manager). We then upgraded from a Restricted Operator Licence to a Standard National. FORS was next on the list for us on the journey to becoming a quality business, recognised for its quality standards.

Progression has been swift and following achievement of Bronze accreditation in March this year the team secured Silver status at the end of May. Daniel driven by the highest quality service standards felt that Gold Accreditation should be next step for the growing business. “FORS was the obvious next step to becoming a quality business. Firstly, because of the status and prestige associated with the badge displayed on the back of our trucks and secondly, through the competitive edge, we hope will be gained when competing for work,” remarks Daniel

Ashville are delighted to announce that we have been granted BSI Concrete compliant recognition. Since we began operations last year, we have strived for continual improvement and this recognises demonstrates our passion and drive to improve and move forward as a contractor. 

Mark Dixon, from Mark Dixon Consultancy LTD, spoke to us about the process of obtaining BSI Concrete Compliant approval:

“From a standing start Ashville Concrete have gone through a rapid transformation into an organisation capable of achieving Kitemark Certification for its volumetrically produced Readymix Concrete. Solid foundations were there from the beginning with Owner Director Daniel Ashville being committed to the process and investing significantly in the latest Reimer Production equipment and quality materials.

Materials were tested by our Technical Consultants (Mark Dixon Consultancy Ltd) and by the end of 2017 we were producing our bespoke mix design confident of the capability of our mix meeting our customers’ specifications.

Staff training completed and with all the systems and forms in place we were ready to welcome BSI for their initial assessment. We are pleased to announce that on the 7th Feb 2018 BSI audited all elements of Ashville Concrete and found it to be compliant with the requirements of BS EN 206, BS8500-2 and ISO 9001:2015.”
